happy birthday baby!

so yes, I am a day late in posting this as Anna's 4th birthday was actually yesterday, but since we still have a couple more birthday activities to go, I am technically ok with posting the day after her birthday :)

at four, Anna is:

*starting to become very independent, wants to do everything herself, from getting dressed (and picking out her own clothes...argh!) to showering instead of taking a bath and getting in the car by herself

*very in to princesses still and playing pretend. she has also recently discovered Barbie and loves all the stuff that goes along with that

* favorite colors are red and purple

*weighs (to be determined at her appointment on Monday)

*height (same as above)

*wears size 4 shirts and starting to fit in to size 4 pants (as long as they have an adjustable waist, if not she wears a 3)

*wears size 7 1/2 or 8 shoes

*goes to bed at about 8-8:30pm and gets up about 8:30am

*loves crafts projects of any kind

*wants to help out with a lot of things around the house. the other day she asked if she could help with the dusting (yay!)

*likes to have lullabies sung to her at night by mama (I love this too!)

*loves to ride in daddy's truck

*says that when she turns 6 she is going to start playing poker with daddy

*goes to gymnastics once a week (funny thing...her teacher is a girl I went to high school with!)

*loves books and movies

*no longer takes a nap, but she does have "quiet time" in which she watches a movie in the other room while Rylee sleeps and mama catches up on stuff around the house
