the princess and the frog...disney studio style!

we started our birthday festivities Saturday with lunch with Johnny's mom and step dad at Red Robin (Anna's favorite!) and then today surprised her Sunday with a day that we have had planned for months, a trip to Disney Studios for a showing of The Princess and the Frog in the studio theatre and afterwards we got to meet and have pictures taken with all of the Disney Princesses. Our little girl was over the moon!

First was Snow White...

even Rylee got in on this one. I was completely surprised by how much she loved Snow White

next was Belle

and then Cinderella

and then Princess Tiana

by now we had purchased Anna's souvenir, a pair of stuffed kissing frogs and she pretty much insisted on taking them to meet all of the princesses she went to after this as you will see in all of the following pictures...

with Jasmine

Rylee was done by this point...no more meeting princesses for her!

Anna was still ready to roll though...

with Sleeping Beauty...this made me cry. Anna was SO excited to give her a hug and tell her how beautiful she is!

she LOVED Ariel too, and I loved how Ariel laid down on her rocks to get in close to Anna so that they could talk

She then went to meet Pocahontas (she had no idea who she was, only that she is a princess) and then back to Snow White and Belle.

She then went to meet Mulan, another princess who she knew nothing about. It had to be one of both mine and Johnny's favorite moments when she started grilling Mulan about who she lived with, where she lives, what she does, etc. I guess you need to know who you are posing for pictures with, right?

All in all it was an awesome day and we left with both Johnny and I agreeing that we will more than likely go back there if they have any special events like this one. It was so well organized, all of the people working there from the security to the parking lot attendants to the princesses were so nice and seemed to enjoy being there. It made an already fun day that much more fun. The best part was that Anna loved it all and was still talking about it when she went to bed Sunday night!

In just one more day our little girl will be THREE!
